The Celebration of 75th Independence Day

India's independence was announced by Jawaharlal Nehru on August 15,
1947, who was confirmed as the first Indian Prime Minister. The British House
of Commons passed the Indian Independence Bill on July 4, 1947, and it was
passed inside a fortnight. This was a significant piece of the cycle that drove
India to her triumph. Political dissidents and nationalists like Mohandas
Karamchand Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmi Bai,
and a lot more lead the ordinary citizens with their conviction and assurance
to win freedom. After that, India became a free country with the partition
of Pakistan India.
This day the tricolor flag of India was hoisted at the Lahori Gate of
Red Fort in Delhi. Right up 'til today, every year the Prime Minister hoists
the flag and commemorates the occasion by a traditional ceremony in Delhi,
India's capital. After the Prime Minister addresses the country, a military

On Sunday India celebrated its 75th Independence Day on 15th August
2021, with the pride to mark its independence from British principle. PM Modi
was received by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State for
Defense Ajay Bhatt and Defence Secretary Dr. Ajay Kumar before leaving for Red
Fort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag at the
Red Fort in New Delhi this morning and addressed the nation. It was followed by
a series of events. The subject of the 75th Independence Day this year is
'Nation First, Always First' to respect the penances made by our freedom
fighters for the country.
Prime
Minister Modi told the Centre will soon be launching Rs 100 lakh crore Gati
Shakti national infrastructure plan to raise India’s economy. According
to Prime Minister Modi, we must ensure we achieve our target of building
Aatmanirbhar Bharat when we celebrate 100 years of independence.
Prime Minister also remembered and paid tribute to some freedom fighter
Jawaharlal Nehru, BR Ambedkar, Queen Chennamma, and Bhagat
Singh among others. Prime Minister also emphasized on the point that from now
onwards army schools are open for girls as well. Prime Minister also encouraged
the parents to admit their students to government schools. He also motivated students
to take an active part in sports and outdoor games.
Prime Minister Modi also announced 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad
in Gujarat in March 2021 to celebrate 75 years of India's Independence. The
celebrations will proceed till August 15, 2023.
